XDm promo

Post by skip »

Just thought I would pass this along, yesterday I bought a new Springfield XDM-40. They werent promoting it in the shop, but when I was looking at the Springfield Armory website, They are giving away 2 free magazines and a double magazine pouch. Thats like 84 bucks worth of accessories. I just thought I would pass this along in case anyone was thinking about getting an XD or XDm.

I thought the standard XD kits came with 2 mags, mag pouch, speed loader and basic holster?

Yes sir, My XDM came with 2 16rd mags, a double mag pouch, speed loader, and a holster, in the case with the gun. But this promo is for an additional 2 mags and double mag pouch. pretty good deal I think.

I bought an XD(M) .40 bi tone nov. 8th, NIB. Took it to the range, worked fine. I paid $609 for it, with all the bells and whistles plus the two additional mags coming soon. I just never liked the gun. Not sure why, just no chemistry. I sold it for $550 and have no regrets. YMMV

Yep, that +2 mags promotion is a good deal. But, with the profit margin Springfield is dragging on the XDs (made in Croatia), they can probably afford it. Smith and Wesson is running a simlar promotion on their M&Ps.

I will have to check that out. I bought my XDm .40 back in August and I love it. I still carry my Kimber on a daily basis but the XDm is a really fun gun to shoot. I take it out every time I go to the range.
