I carried a Gerber clipped folder for years and years before I even considered purchasing any kind of firearm.

My daily carry knife is a Kershaw Storm II - 3 1/2" folder. It's a great knife with good ergonomics - easy to keep a good grip on.

It doubles as a general use knife, but I also keep a little carbide sharpener in my pocket to keep it sharp after each use.

While shopping for new flooring, I brought along a friend who was also interested in carpet. The salesman took us to the warehouse area to look at some carpet on the big rolls for a better perspective. He asked if she wanted a sample to take home and started wandering around...I asked him if he needed a knife and he looked stunned when I pulled a Colt 3.5" folder out of my purse and opened it in one motion. He politely said he was fine and found a worker with a utility knife and cut a section of carpet off.

Silly boys...knives are also for girls!
