Monster Trucks at Reliant

Post by bevans »

Well we are going tomorrow nite and a friend who just recieved his CHL says he is going to carry. I told him I think this falls under the proffesional sporting event thing but wasen't sure as I used to run around with one of the local teams and he said all they were paid was appearence money [not a winners purse] . I would tend to err on the leave it in your car thing but being involved with the HLSR [rodeo] I know about what has gone on in the parking lots walkin back and forth. He is quoting the CONCEALED IS CONCEALED CARRY 24/7 mantra but I know he ain't got the money to be a test case . Any opinions !!! I will print this out to show him. :totap:
I used to think my dad was wrong about everything but as I get older I realize that he was dead on

IANAL but I dont think "winning a purse" has anything to do with the definition of Professional Sporting Event, If that were the case, Professional sporting events such as football, basball, etc would be ok and I believe they are not. I think the fact they get paid to participate qualifies, I am interested to see what those "in the know" think.

It is not a professional sporting event. If they wand you it is a long walk back to the car. I don't believe they wand and this event.
Its legal to CHL carry inside and I believe that there is a bigger risk of geting carjacked than getting arrested if you keep it reasonably concealed.
I am not a lawyer, carjacker or wander,
