Just out of curiosity, why do you want it without the lock? Either way, they are great guns....
Mine is WITH lock.

I have two of the 340PD's. It is just a preference I have. I have a Model 36 that I am going to sale and I am wanting one of the lighter ones without the lock. So, I guess the answer to your question is preference. :tiphat:
