WTS: Sig 229 SAS carry package in DFW TX

Post by HighVelocity »

Business is slow and my hobbies are expensive so duplicates pistols have to go.
I have here a beautiful Sig Custom Shop 229 SAS pistol in 40 S&W (the only caliber it comes in). Siglite night sight front and white post rear sight (stock configuration) All edges are beveled and it utilizes Sig's DAK trigger system. See Sig's website:

Less than 1k rounds fired and only carried a few times. I'll let the pictures do the talking on condition. This pistol has been 100% trouble free and needs nothing but a new home.

Included will be a Galco Yaqui slide holster, Bianchi mag pouch, full box of Blazer Brass practice ammo and a full box of Speer Gold Dot ammo.
Original Sig carry case, manual, 2 factory hicap mags, unopened factory grease and gun lock.

AT THIS TIME IT IS OFFERED FOR LOCAL SALE or TRADE ONLY.

$725 cash FTF. Must be TX resident and show proof. I will throw in a 2nd 50 round box of practice ammo for a TX CHL Holder.

Cash sale will get priority but trades considered in order of preference: Kimber Custom CDP, S&W Gunsite 1911, Glock 34, Glock 17, or a full sized 1911 in 9mm. +/- cash from either side depending on level of trade.

That would be like selling a twin child to me.....yeah, I have one that looks just like it, but there is supposed to be two! FWIW, I talked to Kimberly and I was shot down in a blaze of glory

I think there is a forgiveness prayer for selling Sigs.....at least I think I read that somewhere. I hope you fund a great project with the proceeds. Take care.

Thanks y'all. Yep, funding Brenda's Cowboy Action Shooting gear is taking it's toll on funds. Who am I to deny her?

You mean such an event of sacrifice was not written into your vows? I am a bit disappointed.

Nope. At least the third. But since I am not local to DFW I had an out.

Wow, I should have checked the for sale forum sooner! I'm actually going to be in the DFW area this weekend and had I seen that a little sooner, I would have made plans to make that my first Sig!!!
