I'm looking for a carbine or midlength upper in 5.56/223. Flattop preferred but would consider a nice A2. Either 14.5" with perm attached hider or 16" threaded barrel only. M4 cuts and chrome lining would be nice but not required.
This is going to go on a work rifle so it doesn't matter if it has a few cosmetic flaws. It just needs to be a quality upper.
Thanks

I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

Get in touch with Denny from Global Tactical. He isn't cheap, but I know he has components in stock and he can probably build you exactly what you're looking for. Best customer service around, good guy to buy from.

Call http://www.talonarms.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (713-529-2910) and speak to Rob. We carry LWRC and Sabre Def uppers as well as custom ones built with white oak or sabre barrels. There's really no reason to go with a 14.5 w/ perm attached flash hider. Those are the ones we send to customers in California. :-)

If you are still interested, this guy has RRA 16" CL in stock: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=21&t=670390" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I've purchased from him before, good to go.

Robbie at Lone Star up in the Colony is a good guy. He built an upper for me exactly to my specs for about $550.

Depends on what you order - 6 months isn't unheard of. Some dealers are getting in large orders they placed last fall, now...

The Market Hall show is this weekend next weekend.
I'd be willing to bet you can find some there.
