2a vs self defense

Post by zachgry »

I have been browsing other forums and it seems that the main argument for getting a chl has been ..."Its my right to protect myself" but many are missing what their rights are. The right to self defense doest NOT say you have the right to carry a gun to protect yourself. Your 2a says "the right to bear arms" It does NOT say "the right to bear arms" ONLY if you conceal carry or open carry or only if you hunt or only if you sport shoot or only if you well you get the idea. The argument for carrying a gun should be ..ITS MY RIGHT.

Welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say.
