...But, honestly, I don't know what FMV is..I think Gunbroker.com is overpriced, and I'd rather not deal with the headache of shipping a firearm...So..anyone that's got a gun blue book I'd love to hear from you.

Important info: Lock up still tight? Round count? Original box/paperwork? (amazing how much the price goes up for keeping track of the box), Any wear on the nickel finish? I would be interested if you decide to sell or trade and I'm just down the street in Spring. Good luck.

The OP asked for Blue Book values, so that is what I provided.

It's true that S&W's often sell on the forum for more than they are worth to people who want to shoot them. For that reason, I no longer waste much time there.

is about 586/686 values. The number mentioned twice for a nickel 586 is $500.
