We watched "Apolcalypto" (about the Mayans) the other night, Maybe we need to discuss this idea of sacrificing politicians.

That would do no good. Sacrifices to the God's always require something of worth or value like gold or virgins.lrb111 wrote:We watched "Apolcalypto" (about the Mayans) the other night, Maybe we need to discuss this idea of sacrificing politicians.

How about a cartoon in reply that has the Brady Bunch, chanting some "You devilish demon gun owners....yadda yadda yadda" crud and throwing masses of 2A supporters into the Depths of Hell? Might make the same point the original artist (and I use that work LOOSELY) was making in the opposite direction.

I don't get it. I am a self-proclaimed gun nut, but this isn't offensive to me. A child burning to death in a car...offensive. A cartoon, not so offensive.

I find it offensive mainly because its sacrilegious.
I'm also offended by how we can be made fun of 24/7 with no way to get our own cartoons published. They basically said gun owners get their "jollies" from guns.

Um, you can publish anything you want on the Internet (except child pornography). If people like it or intensely dislike it, word will spread.
Day by Day sometimes publishes pro-RKBA cartoons, but it's not a major issue for the artist.
If you are a student or faculty member at this school, and the paper is published with student funds, you have a good case for demanding that they publish an opposing point of view.

Heck, I'm tempted to start using that "Great Gun" exclamation to buffer my usual salty verbiage!
