Apartment living is a real lack of freedom and just a little better than living in a halfway house. yuck..

One of the benefits of small towns: our mortgage payment is only about 30% more than my wife was paying for a one bedroom apartment in Dallas, and less than double my rent on an efficiency there. She was up to the same pay that she was getting there within a couple of years of getting settled here.

I can't quite use the front porch as an extra bathroom or put a target range in the backyard, but at least I'm not sharing walls with some of the people I was stuck with up there. (and our land is just over five minutes' drive from the house, so it's not like we can't go shooting anytime the weather and ammo supplies cooperate)

Uggggggh! How could the people at the med center have been so STUPID! If the immigrant from Africa was offended by the American Flag, regardless of the size, put the witch back on a plane to Africa. Geez. I am offended at the number of places in Texas that fly the dad blasted Mexican Flag instead of the US Flag or Texas Flag. This being politically correct crap is getting way out of hand. I will be wrong and fly my flag, if someone doesnt like it, try to come burn it, Then I will exercise one of my other rights, the second amendment.

It could have been more than stupidity? FEAR of losing funds from liberal government sources could have been a factor. You do know that we currently have a federal administration that will say and do anything for votes?

TrueFlog: Per Flag Code so long as you have an all weather flag you can fly it in any weather. You can also fly them at night as long as they are properly illuminated.

When I worked at AOL, I had someone complain about an American Flag postcard I had in the front of my cube, HR told them to stuff it.

Considering the typical handling of postcards, they could have been complaining about the disregard for the flag code.
