Anyone see Nathan Lane walk like The Duke in The Birdcage? I can't help but chuckle a little everytime I see John Wayne walk now.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

This is what I carry with me to keep my laptop and other *work* required gear safe...Can you recommend a better way for me not to look like a girl?

To me it says, "I couldn't possibly manage to get another buckle or strap on this bag." :biggrinjester:

Cool bag though, I have nearly purchased it several times in the past.

I'm late to this conversation, but to be fair: my dad takes a fanny pack (usually carries it or stores it on his scooter. . . rarely wears it on his waist, but he has been known to) everywhere he goes and has never carried a gun.

He keeps all sorts of personal effects in it:
- medication
- pens / pencils
- maps
- PDA
- mp3 player
- prescription glasses / sunglasses (whichever he isn't wearing)
- mints

He'll also keep a pen and a pencil and a case for the glasses he's wearing in his front shirt pocket - where his cigarettes also went until about 15 years ago. We can't stop him. :)

I've also been told that wearing photographer's vests and hawaiian shirts screams CHL, if not to the general public, at least to other CHLs.
Yeah, they do. On the other hand, the square and compass ring screams Freemason, if not to the general public, at least to other Masons....

Point being, those in condition brown won't know the difference, and those who are in the "know" really shouldn't care...if I "spot" someone in a shoot-me-first vest or Hawaiian shirt, I figure that's a likely ally.

Other than that, I wear my Hawaiian shirts all the time on the weekend (hey, they're comfortable!) and haven't been "made" even by folks that should know better....

Remember this: you are *authorized* to carry that piece...if nobody actually sees it (re: the intentional failure to conceal clause) they only suspect that you have it...and they can't do a darn thing about it even if they think they're sure.

well, finally got my M-51 bag.

I'll post a complete review once I've tried it out for a week or two. So far, great bag.
