F/S: PA-63

Post by mymojo »

Hungarian made milsurp FEG PA-63. Chambered in Makarov 9x18. This one is somehwat different than most PA63's in that it is not two toned. As you can see from the picture, the frame is blued. To date I have only seen four that weren't duo toned. I have been told these were the officer model, hence the rarity, but I cant confirm that. Also, it comes with custom Marschal wood grip (there is about a 30-45 day turn around if you were to order these seperately). Price is $250 firm. Between FFL fees, shipping and the grips, that is what I have in this pistol. Comes with two 6 round magazines. Holster not included

What is the difference between 9 x 18mm and 9 x 19mm (besides the obvious 1mm!), i.e. can you alternate between the two sizes, will it fire both, where can you find 9 x 18mm, is it more expensive?

Heya Blake,

I'm not a ballistics expert so I cant really describe the differences, but no, x18 & x19 are not interchangeable.

One of the reasons I bought this pistol (and my CZ-82) was that ammo has been affordable and available. Lat time I bought ammo it was about $10 for a box of 50. But I'm left handed and this only has the right hand thumb safety which is a deal breaker for me... So I'm selling this to buy a Kimber Ultra Elite a friend has for sale. ;-)

9mm Makarov(9x18) is not the same as 9mm Luger(9x19). They are NOT interchangable!

I would bet a 9x19 in a 9x18 would not go into battery and would then blow up in your face
