It can be sold, just not carried legally unless you are LE.

I'm not sure if this applies, but doesn't 46.05 still include: A person commits an offense if he intentionally or knowingly possesses, manufactures, transports, repairs, or sells??? I don't have an up to date hardcopy of the Texas Penal Code so I am not sure if something has changed. So might it not be an offense to sell a switchblade knife also in this state??? Just wondering. I know I see them for sale all the time, thus the question.... Perhaps a current LEO forum member might comment. Wouldn't want to see someone inadvertently mess up here on the forum.

I could find no source for Grayhawk's reference that did NOT indicate it was an offense, so offer is withdrawn....
