Didn't see this posted anywhere, but wow with kids under the same roof, a firearm must be secured in a safe or something. Tragic, preventable.

What a ridiculous place to stash a handgun in condition 1 (which it must have been, since I doubt a 3 year old can rack the slide to load it).
