My status still states "Processing Application" but it never changed to anything else.

well talked to dps rep on 7-30. day before i came back offshore. they are still missing 1 fingerprint card the fbi one. she is sending new cards for me to redo again. after i got offshore wife emailed to say she found receipt. we mailed card 6-25 signed for at dps 6-30. so where is this card? why do they not have record of it? im getting so mad right now. ive been waiting on this since feb 27th. 7 mos is bull. what do i do? someone please advise. she said all they are waiting on is fbi check all my backgound checks are in. i wont be back from offshore unil 8-13. so by the time get them redone, send in again, :banghead: and have to wait some more its going to be 8-9 mos just trying to get a chl. :banghead:

I think I'd be contacting anyone and everyone with some authority, especially since you have the signed for confirmation they received the FBI prints. Gov, Senator, Representative, CHL instructor, DPS Director. There's no reason you should be jumping through these hoops since DPS is dropping the ball.

Applied in Nueces, moved to Tarrant in June. You'd think they stuck me in Harris Co pile :eek6


lol USA1, "surprised" isn't the word for it. It's one of those "eh, look, it changed' - very lackluster :rolll I think knowing I had to start banging on cages takes the innocent excitement out of the process.
