Blackhawk Serpa

Post by Kevinf2349 »

Has anyone got any experience with a Blackhawk Serpa holster.

I am thinking of getting one for a Glock 19 and have the chance to pick one up for $30....is that a bargin? It comes with a paddle attachment and a belt loop.

Anyone care to share thoughts/experiences of the holster. (Please no BT comments or Glock hating on me "rlol" )

TIA

Good deal. I have one. what model? I think there is sporter, skinny model cost less. and there is one that cover all the slide just after the trigger.

It is a CQC Carbon Fiber which is specifically designed for concealed carry. I like the locking mechanism, once that bad boy is locked in it isn't falling out but the draw isn't impeded (I tried one today and was very impressed)

Kevinf2349, not intending to hijack your thread, okay? Does anyone know if there is a Blackhawk Serpa CQC model that'll fit a Glock 30? Thanks.

Kevin, I guess I paid for mine north of $40 maybe $47. You get good deal in $30. Blackhawk are quality products.

Just FYI, some shooting schools and ranges forbid the Serpa due to several negligent discharges allegedly associated with them. Frankly, the holster is fine, its the finger on the trigger when being drawn thats the issue.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I am pretty sure I have seen a total ban on holsters on one range I went to, but I am getting old and my memory isn't....erm...what was I saying?
