Re: FS: Marlin 1894C .357 Mag / .38 Special - 1981 version.
nice.
I will say that AeA is a great person to do business with and his guns are, as they say, squared away.

FWIW, IIRC, AFAIK, FTMP, IANAL. YMMV.

Thanks for the plug DoubleJ.
It is a nice rifle and as I said a bit rare in that the first year they made these in .357 was 1979 and the last year for the gold triggers was 1982. This one being a 1981 version.
Then they started with the foolish cross bolt safeties in 1983 or 1984.

How did you find out what year it was made? I have one exactly like yours, minus the gold trigger - also without the safety. Sorry to clutter your thread...
EDIT:
Sorry, should have googled it first. http://oldguns.net/sn_php/marlinlookup.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Mine's an 82, and I absolutely love mine!! These are sweet, compact, light, low recoil, accurate rifles. I have no plans to sell mine, and I'm sure most people feel the same way. These are great rifles.

No problem, thanks for the report on yours!
I wouldn't be selling mine either, but, I have two and only need one.
