FS on consignment - Colt Double Eagle Mk II

Full size gov't model Double Eagle Mk II on consignment (no, not mine - mine ain't fer sale! :grin: ) at a gunshop in El Paso. Stainless, checkered backstrap, adjustable MMC rear sight, one mag, very minor wear, no box. Serial #DA091xx.

The owner has it on consignment for $700; I don't know if that's open to haggling or not. It has been at the store for a while, so ....

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

I don't follow Colt prices closely, but isn't $700 for a stainless DE a pretty good price? The Colt name alone (except for some pocket pistols) is usually good for at least $600.
