The fiance orders Medium-Rare all the time with no problem at Saltgrass.bdickens wrote:The only Outback Steak House I go to anyway is at the grill out back of my house!
Just as an aside, it really annoys me to order a steak, burger or whatever and be asked how I'd like it cooked only to be told thay can't cook it that way when I reply "medium rare." Then why did you ask me how I wanted it if you can only supply me with a peice of charcoal?

Speaking of antigun steak restaurants, anybody remember this?

If I recall correctly he is a CHL holder, but posts his business. If so, that is sure arrogant that he feels he is capable of carrying but others can't be trusted in his restaurant to have a concealed weapon.hankintexas wrote:My mistake maybe.... I will need to call and find out if the Taste of Texas is posted. I thought Ed Hindy was a CHL holder? If it is posted, I will never return until the posting is removed.

That says it all. One restaurant has cops spending their own money to eat there. The other has to pay cops to be there.Roscoe wrote:We haven't been there in several years because we love "The Saltgrass" right across #45 from The Woodlands. They have great steaks, great service, and they do keep Shiner on draft. They always seem to have LEO's in there too; but in their case the cops are just there having dinner with their families.
