Statements that you should never make to a cop

Post by seamusTX »

  • Do you know who I am? (implying that one is politically connected)
  • I pay your salary.
  • You can't arrest me.
  • I only had two beers.
  • You're not going to look in my trunk, are you?
Any others?

"ok, ok.... OK I GET IT, can you hurry up I gotta be somewhere, that's why I was speeding in the first place!"
The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all. I like a little rebellion now and then. It is like a storm in the atmosphere. -Thomas Jefferson

My ex-wife ran off with a cop. I thought maybe it was you and you were trying to bring her back to me! :biggrinjester:

(Good thing my wife doesn't read this! (ex- or present!)) :txflag:

- Want a donut?
- Sorry, Officer, I didn't realize my radar detector wasn't plugged in.
- Are you Andy or Barney?
- Yeah? Let me see YOUR license and insurance!
- Does it smell like weed in here to you?
- Are you the guy from the Village People?

Slack time between Winchell's and Dunkin?
It wasn't me, it was someone that looks like me, I can't run that fast.
I told the guy on the phone I wasn't going to pay anymore dues to the Trooper's Association.
So, How's "don't ask, don't tell" treating you?
