Sorry about the bad link, guys. But after seeing and reading about Rukhsana Kauser, I was understandably weak at the knees and going ga-ga, and a man makes mistakes in that condition.

For the most part, resistance was indeed futile. That is, until a clever synthetic human pretended to be assimilated when the surprisingly seductive queen of the Borg enticed him by giving him some real human tissue, which she figured he'd like. Turns out, he was tricking her, and the bad guys lost. That was a good movie.
