Arrest Records

Post by shane333 »

Are the certified disposition letters required for an application to pass? Will the application be denied without them? I was arrested twice, once when I was a minor (never saw a judge or paid a fine, parents picked me up and that was it..1983) and once for a PI in 1992 (paid a fine and was released, never saw a judge). I listed these on my application.

I think the qualifier is if you were taken to jail and booked, meaning if you were fingerprinted and photographed.

Were you? When I called down to DPS prior to me sending my application to them I asked what should be put in the "criminal history" section of the application. I was told every arrest that has ever happened in my lifetime. All of mine happened when I was an adult.

I'm sure others will chime in with their opinion shortly.
