Haven't been able to arrange a trade, so I'm going to have to outright buy a Combat Commander in 9mm with the funds from this gun. This is my first Commander, and it fits me so well and shoots so well, I want one in 9mm.
I've owned this gun about a month, put 500 flawless rounds through it. Eats hardball and hollowpoints.
Gary Dean, who specializes in 1991's, did the trigger job. It's a crisp 4.5lbs.
1 of 500 made by the Colt Custom Shop in 1911. This is #CCP354.
No flaws, no problems, no box or papers.
Comes with three, Tripp Research, 8 round mag's and five, Mec-gar, 7 round mag's. (I think originally it came with two of these mag's.) I'll also include an Uncle Mikes IWB holster, your choice right or left handed since I have two.
The card below is a copy of the original showing the Custom Shop features. Read it for details on the gun. Not sure if the stocks were changed, but my call to Colt indicated it came with these stocks.
I searched high and low for info on these guns before I traded for it and found only one other which sold twice on gunbroker for around $1,100 and it had been modified and only had two mag's.
I'll probably be kicking myself this time next month, but here goes:
$975 fact-toface or $1000 shipped to your FFL where legal (payment by bank cashier's check only)
