Long time lurker, first time poster question..

Post by Lovemywife »

Question about license delivery time from Austin - How long does it normally take to receive plastic after status changes to "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"? I am in Harris County.

Thanks for helping the newbie, and on a side note this is a really great forum!!

Took Class - 9/26/09
Packet Mailed to Austin (snail mail) - 9/28/09
Received PIN (via mail) - 10/10/09
Status Changed from "Processing Application" to "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active" yesterday 11/14/08 (Approx. 50 days from taking class)

Hello Lovemywife :tiphat:
Wow, what a positive user name!

You should expect to wait about a 3 to 5 days, give or take a day or two.
I think mine took 4 days.

Just be sure to check your mailbox everyday and report back here to share the good news . ;-)

Thanks longhornmike! Checked the mailbox again today and nothing. Arghhh. I wish I never saw the "app completed, license issued" message last Friday. Now the wait is just killing me.

Hook 'em!

Yeah longhornmike I do. I primarily go to Hot Wells Shooting Range on 290 as it is about 10 minutes from the house. You?
