Dickies Mutli Use Pocket Pants

Post by Tireshred »

I picked up a pair of these pants and shorts from Academy and wore them this weekend, the extra pocket is great for a couple of 1911 mags. I didn't try a small pistol like the LCP, but I'm sure it would fit. Neat for the price (both were less than $20 each). The extra pocket is low on the right side and is hard to see.

I picked up a pair of Dickies carpenter jeans at WM quite a while ago. The extra pockets are indeed great for magazines. Unfortunately, I didn't buy them big enough for an IWB holster. Also, the front pockets are a little small for a pocket carry LCP or P3AT.
I did see recently though, WM now carries Jesse James brand carpenter style pants for $20. They look a little more heavy duty and slightly more dressy than jeans (sort of like the Dickies.)
Anyone have a report as to how any of these pants hold up compared to the much more expensive 5.11's?
