Asked me to send the box and ammo and they would test it and send me more 10mm Blazer in return. I told them no thanks. The guy said that it can happen with brass cases also. Either way I will not use it again.
A head separation (that's big time ammo man talk) can and does happen to all forms of ammunition brass, steel, and aluminum that's why they make and sell broken shell extractors. This is a very common malfunction in automatic weapons in the military. The biggest cause of them is excessive headspace. Therefore, you could have a problem with your gun (rather unlikely) or you got a slightly short case and aluminum being softer and weaker than brass this caused the separation.

I read yesterday about Glocks becoming unsupported. Pretty good info. Check it out here http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/sho ... p?t=345621" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Wow, glad the next round didn't chamber :eek6

Just one more reason I only feed my weapons brass.

As mojo noted, brass separates too. I have been through thousands of rounds of Blazer aluminum 9mm and like it very well for target practice. I don't see any reason to switch because of one separation.

Oh, and the link to the glock with the unsupported chamber could have just as easily been linked as "risks of using reloaded ammo..."
