I have no experience with either, but Tucker makes some real quality holsters. A friend has the Answer and really likes it.
Shooter's Station, which is just a short drive for you down 105 out of Navasota, is a Tucker stocking dealer. I don't know that if you would get it cheaper than direct but you could at least handle one and try it out.

I have the Tucker Texas Heritage. The only thing that I do not like is that the holster collapses when I draw my gun thus I cannot re-holster using just one hand. I believe that Tucker makes the Texas Heritage with the option of having a reinforcing lether band near the top that is suppossed to hold the holster open when the gun is drawn. I do not have any idea whether or not this works as advertised.
The Texas Heritage I own also has a tongue of leather that keeps the grip of the gun off of my skin.
If I had it to do over again I would by an IWB holster that would allow one-handed re-holstering.
Hopes this helps.

I was curious how much of a problem that posed. After checking Tucker's site, it mentions that it is not inforced, and do not list an option. You just helpd me to rule this holster out! However 'The Answer' is still on the list...oilman wrote:I have the Tucker Texas Heritage.
