Mr. Birdsongs green t
Think I'll be sending in my benelli super black eagle to mr. birdsong to have him coat it in green t for me. Anyone here ever had a gun done from him?

I've had him refinish a couple in Black T. Couldn't be happier. The finish may be softer than some but there is absolutely nothing that provides better corrosion protection.
Walter passed away earlier this year. Not sure if his son is running the shop now, but AFAIK the shop is open.

Re: Mr. Birdsongs green t
The reason I am wanting to have it done is because it seems like the finish on it now is incredibly soft and gets a scratch every time you touch it. I'm not really worried as much about corrosion as I take very good care of my tools. But I want something that is going to be alot harder to scratch and really hold up and look like new for years to come. Maybe I should go with CeraKote instead.

I had my police 870 done in Armolloy back in the 70's and it has held up well.
I think they have a location in Fort Worth.
