OK, just since everyone is posting their wish list, I will quote a saying my daughter had on a shirt:

I think I agree with you about feeding the fever...BUT, now I have another problem...making a decision on which one to get first!

I moved to Texas in April of 2006, and bought my house that July. Since then, my son and I between us have purchased:

1. a Remington 700 VSF in .308 (plus a 4.5-14X50mm Leupold VX-III scope w/ B&C reticle)
2. a Sig GSR 1911 Stainless Carry
3. an H&K USP Compact in .40 S&W
4. a Savage 10FP-HS Precision in .308 (plus a Bushnell 4200 Elite 6-24X40mm scope)
5. a Bushmaster 24" Varminter AR15 (plus a Burris XTR 3-12x50mm mil-dot scope)
6. a Rock River Arms 24" Varminter(plus a Burris XTR 3-12x50mm mil-dot scope)
7. all the parts to assemble two AR15 carbines (plus two Eotech 517A65 sights)
8. a Taurus PT1911
9. a Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry II
10. a Springfield 1911 Loaded Parkerized
11. a Kimber Pro Raptor II
12. a S&W 642 Airweight Crimson Trace
13. a standard S&W 642 Airweight
14. a Keltec P3AT
15. a Glock 19
16. a Mossberg 500 shotgun
17. a S&W model 22A
18. a Ruger 22/45 Mark III 5" Hunter
19. and most recently, a Springfield Armory M1A Loaded (plus a SWFA SS10x40HD mil-dot scope)

And that doesn't count holsters, and other accessories.

Texas been beddy beddy good to me, but when I think of how much money I've got invested in all that...

But that said, I think I'm done for a while. Between all of those, plus 4 or 5 that I brought with me from California, I now own almost every single gun I've ever wanted.

...of course, a lever rifle in .44 magnum to compliment my Model 29 S&W would probably fit in the new safe I'm going to have to buy...
