Does anyone know anything about the Texas Fishing, Hunting & Outdoors Show in Arlington?

Its a big show at the Arlington Convention Center. In the past it has been more fishing than hunting. Kinda like a really big boat show.

I heard a promo for a 'hunting, fishing & shooting' rally on the steps of the Convention Center on KLIF 570AM in Dallas the other night. I believe it's Saturday morning at either 8 or 9am. If I remember correctly it's to garner support of the sports. Don't hold me to that though. I've slept since then.

IMO, TSRA would be well served to have an exhibit there.

From the website, the dates are January 7-10, 2010. The wife, one or more grandsons and I usually make the Saturday show.

I just heard an ad on the radio about the "Texas Hunter's Rally" to be held on the Arlington Convention Center front steps at 8:30am Saturday January, 9. For those that attend the rally, the sponsors are passing out 1/2 price admission tickets.

For half price, I think I'll go.
