KelTec PMR-30

Post by Dan20703 »

Interesting new item by Kel Tec. Holds 30 rounds of .22 magnum. Thats a lot of trigger pulls between reloads!

Ooooh, could a .17 HMR be far behind? That would sure be fun! Maybe just interchangeable barrels.

Now that would be a fun one to take out. :fire I could see it being useful in the dispatch of trapped hogs... hmmm when is the debut? Any word on cost? KelTec's are usually cost efficient...

It is supposed to debut at the 2010 SHOT Show, and be available to the general public in the second quarter of next year. Kel-Tec says in their press release that expected MSRP will be $415. It is also single action, which makes it even more attractive to me.

Linky to press release:

I'm going to pick one of these up if I hear they're reliable. It looks very, very fun :hurry:

Deja vu!

George Kelgren's (of Kel-tec) first rendition of a 30 round .22 WMR semi-auto pistol, the Grendel P-30.

Has anyone seen one yet? I think a PMR-30 is going to be my next fun gun.

I have been looking around for one just to check it out. I would like to have one but I want to hold one before I buy. If anyone get one I hope they post a review.

There's 3 on GunBroker right now. Seem to be selling at over $100-200 more than MSRP of $415 because of the limited numbers Kel-Tec is producing right now.

Thanks. For a fun gun, I can wait until they have the same discount off MSRP as other Kel-Tecs at gun shows. :tiphat:
