A triangular sight that the mind lines up faster.. we have a few on the market. Although this is a bit different, but the same principle. I had the SureSight on one of my guns and liked it, but I had the second set on order for almost a year with the company and the CS was horrible, finally had to get a refund through my CC company as I could not reach anyone at the sight company (http://www.suresight.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). i know there is another one with the tip of the front sight a smaller triangle and the Steyr M and S series handguns have triangle notch and front sight type sights.
I guess we'll see if this guy makes his commercially available. His look more like a target sight, where the SureSight type sights are more defensive to me.

My thought is that it is an answer to a problem that does not exist in an attempt to gain large sales to LEO's across the Country.

Kinda like the ammunition stamping idea..........
Create something that triggers an emotional response to a non existent problem and make lots of money. Even better if you can get Congress to mandate it.

It may or may not work better than conventional sights. I personally like the sights I have. And, anyone who actually shoots in life defending situations know that you do not normally use your sights anyway and if you do you should be using only your front sight.

Just my take on it, YMMV...... :txflag:

I was looking at a ghost ring rear sight with a fiber optic front for fast target acquisition. But it was pointed out one might loose some precision as far as grouping, but gain speed in target acquisition. I too have no problems with my current sights on any of my pistols, but I like the idea of something different. To each his/her own. And if I could find the ghost ring rear sight for my CZ 75PCR it would be installed already. I only really found them for Glocks, H&K's, Beretta 92's, some Sig models, and I think the Springfield XD line.
