Range trip with new toy (Mossberg 590 A1) PICS!!

Post by arnoldstrong »

Yesterday I went into the local gun shop just to look at HD shotguns...As we all know there is no such thing as just looking :-) I have wanted one of these for years and ended up getting one for myself as a Christmas gift!!

It performed like a champ at the range. I was actually quite surprised at how manageable the recoil was. I certainly wouldn't be able to accurately rapid fire with it, but it had considerably less kick on my body than I expected. The evidence follows:

And here's one with my trusty G-19

I also posted this on Glock talk, so I apologize if any of you are seeing this twice

The best and easiest to shoot home defense shot gun I ever shot is a Wilson ScatterGun Technologies Professional. It is 12 gauge with a 14" barrel pump. I shot full 00 short magnums through it and could do so on the move shooting multiple targets. For those of you that don't know me I am all of 5 feet tall and 110 pounds. This awesome gun didn't push me around at all. I have shot 12 gauge pumps before and have always needed to have a good solid stance behind them not this one. Now to make it perfect I would need to see if I could get Wilson to build a 20 gauge for me! Then I could run flat out and shoot!

Here is the link to it: http://www.wilsoncombat.com/s_professional.asp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Congratulations on the early Christmas gift! I've had my eye on the 9 round 590a1 with the speedfeed stock, this must be a sign that I should get it soon.
