Outta the IWB holster game too long...

Post by gigag04 »

I've been outta the IWB holster game for too long...I was carrying a USPc .40 for the longest time.

My dept is switching from Glock 22s to the Glock 21sf (yay for .45ACP!!)

I used this as an excuse to get a glock 30sf (will take 21sf mags and smaller than USPc). I'm looking to get a good IWB holster...like a Milt Sparks VMII. I had one a few years back on an XD I owned, but sold it with the pistol.

He has a 6+month wait...which is kinda long. And the price is still high.

Where else should I be looking for a more immediate lead time and better value? Also - been scanning google and as best as I can tell the 30 with a rail takes the same size holster as a 30sf. Can anyone confirm or deny? That may help my quest.

Also looking for a good ankle holster for this gun if anyone has any ideas there. It's like no holster maker acknowledges this gun and its been out for a couple of years.

Thanks in advance guys,

If you are not into kydex this won't help, but otherwise, try http://www.comp-tac.com/index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I don't see the 30sf specifically listed, but their FAQs say if you don't see it, contact them, they may have it and just not updated the site yet, and they also sometimes can make a holster for a gun that they haven't done yet. They can also customize their existing designs. They make holsters to order, and their site says current production time is 8 days.

Give'm a call.

I've been very pleased with my crossbreed SuperTuck Deluxe. He also offers a 10% discount for NRA, Mil, and LEO (can only claim one discount). He also has tuckable mag carriers, belts, ect. His lead time is pretty short my holster, mag carrier, and belt came in a little past the two week mark.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

Hey, Glock guys:

What do the suffixes "s" and "sf" signify?

Also do Glocks use an "ls" (long slide) in some of their models?

Or am I thinking of some other brand(s)?

I've had good luck with Arsenal Leather. Elmer user to work with Milt, so he's experienced and his holsters are very good quality.

http://www.concealco.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; makes a great, slim, well priced IWB and Renegade do a comfortable ankle holster. I carry a P99 in the former and an M&P9c in the latter - very happy with both.
