I couldn't seem to embed with the start time related to the gun q&a so fast foward to 06m54s for it. Obviously this is a crowd that won't agree with him but thought you might like to see it all the same.

I agree with him. I also have faith that the universe is benign. believing the universe is "out to get me" or any other non-benign belief would be a sign of mental illness, IMO.

But, I have no such faith in all of the universe's inhabitants also being benign. Having that faith about all of the people is also a sign of mental illness, IMO.

And not being able to tell the difference between the two is a sign of a lack of intelligence. Which goes with his having been assaulted and still not believing in self defense. It would seem he is a slow learner in that situation.

He mentioned that he did not carry as Mayor of Cleveland,
but he neglected to say if he had armed LEO's covering his
back.

Maybe his world has changed from one "requiring hospitalization"
to one that is benign and full of sunshine and rainbows, but don't
count on RKBA fans to cotton to any of his gun control ideas.

Look at the horrible crime problems of the disarmed UK and the
disarmed Australians for a preview of what would happen.

I find his views on gun control very unfortunate. I wish we had more thoughtful politicians like him in office, wether or not I agree with his stances on issues. This stance is not thoughtful at all, and very unlike him.

I mean, how many politicians would take time out to regurlarly answer questions from an internet forum, many of which werent even his constituents?

I'll give him credit for being honest and straightforward in his answers to this question, and the others he was posed, even if this question is very obviously wrongheaded.

The people can thrive without government but government cannot exist without the consent of the people.

I have to question if Kuinich is truly a representation of the people of Ohio. If he is I never want to go close enough to the state to smell the stench of their decaying freedoms.
