Prayer Requests

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Prayer Requests

#1

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

Our little community is getting large enough that we have people in need of prayer. While serious health issues come to mind first, we also have people who are out of work, people with family issues and a multitude of other problems and they need our prayers.

Let's keep these folks in our prayers and I hope those who request prayers will keep us updated to the extent they feel it's appropriate in an open forum.

I have a personal request. This section of the forum is for prayer requests and updates, it's not a place to engage in religious discussions.

Regards,
Chas.

What's up fellas!

I'm still at my training in OK. I'm going on over 2 months of not shooting. I carried once to a restaurant and that's it....it feels wierd.

I could use a lot of prayer! The Lord is really moving in our lives, but this training (missionary training) is hard by design. They are preparing us to live and do ministry in the hardest places of the planet. This week is "ethnic food" week and we are eating some...ahem...interesting stuff...including our insect of the day.

Lot's of growing close to Jesus is taking place as well, so it is good.

I miss y'all and can't wait untill Nov when I'm done here and have time to plug back into the now huge board!

"Insect of the day"

That's tough.

Was going to drop you a line, but I didn't find your email on your profile.

Have fun up there. God bless you, brother![/quote]

To Mr. Charles and Members,
I cannot tell you how much your help and prayers have meant to my family and I. It is the prayers of great people like you that has brought us through. This is the greatest section on this forum. Only thing left is a 1911 section

Mr. Cotton, this is truly a blessing to be able to pray for one another. This forum is the only one I have ever participated in and it is because of the wonderful people you have here. Thank you!

Today would be a good day to pray for God's blessings on our country and for our country to bless God for his benevolence.

Amen! I believe this is our daily duty to pray for our country and leaders and our armed forces who are protecting our liberty and way of life.
