The doctors won't let me shoot long guns anymore due to pacemaker/defib unit. Time to get back to pistols. Looking for a decent .22 as I don't want to shoot up a bunch of my Sig or Ruger ammo.
Looking for Beretta U22, Browning Buckmark, Smith & Wesson 22A. Barrels should be at least six inches.
Anybody have anything they are interested in parting with?

If the 2nd admendment only applies to muskets and muzzle-loaders, then the 1st admentment must apply only to the spoken or printed word. Printing must be done on hand presses, news stories must be written in longhand, no keyboards or electric processes may be used.

If you really want to do some serious target work, add the Ruger to your list.
None of those others have near the aftermarket upgrade potential.
I had a 22A and wasn't impressed. The Ruger I got last month impressed.

Field stripping a Mk III ain't the hard part, it's the putting it back together that's troublsome. In either event, Ruger has videos on their website that will walk you through the entire process. They just don't mention the little hanging thinghy.

Look into the Ruger Charger...bull barrel, bipod, great action and plenty of aftermarket goodies. I have a buckmark that I love to shoot.

Per SCone's SIG comment, I don't think it has near enough bbl.
As to Rugers, not interested in the Charger, and have heard too many horror stories about getting a Ruger back together if you are not an experience gunsmith. Prefer to stay away from them for now.
As to SCone's second comment regarding the Bull Barrel Ruger, it depends upon bbl. length and model number.
In the ancient past, I was a GREAT rifle shooter. Due to now being an 'Old Coot', I may become a decent pistol shooter, but not match grade. Don't want to buy a pistol much above my skill set.
