RBCD experiences??

Post by lrb111 »

I was surfing around and ran across the RBCD ammo site.
http://www.rbcd.net/Personal%20Defense%20Ammo.htm

They have raw numbers on their ammo performance, and it appears astounding to me. I mean, way beyond typical factory ammo.
Anyone have experience with them? Or their ammo? particular thoughts, maybe?

Just like every other trick wiz-bang frangible bullet on the market, they do not provide adequate penetrtation. I believe there is a plastic ball inside the bullet, similar to one of the Corbon loadings. If you search around, you will find all kinds of supporting evidence that this stuff is trash.

Double Tap is good stuff if you are looking for some really hot loads. Buffalo Bore is pretty wicked, as well. Probably won't get hotter safely/without reloading.
