Tucker HF1 for Ultra CDP II !

Post by rodc13 »

Coming back from East Texas last weekend I happened to stop at Shooter's Station in Conroe, and lo and behold, a big stock of holsters from Tucker Gunleather. Even better, an HF1 for a 3" 1911 in black cherry, cross-cut full stamp, with Texas concho! A perfect match for the gear I have on order. I could not pass it by.

I've just been wearing it for a couple of days, but already I find that it's extremely comfortable, quite accessible and totally concealable, even with just an untucked polo. It holds the weapon at just the right cant, very tight to the body.

As you'll see from the pics, the workmanship is outstanding, with great attention to detail. When the rest of my rig shows up (gun belt, mag pouch and HF1 for the Desert Warrior), it'll just be a matter of deciding which weapon to carry today. But I've just gotta get me a pair of matching boots . . .

That's a nice looking combo, Rod.

I need to make sure that when I'm passing through Conroe next, that I don't stop there. My bank account would sure suffer.

I have just a plain one for my commander sized LTC. I like it very much.

I agree. Good looking rig. That is one of the reasons for open carry.

Carry 24-7 or guess right.

That is definitely a good lookin rig!

I've been curious how it would look with a 3" 1911. I have a 3" Kimber Tactical, and have had my eyes on that holster for OWB. In a few months maybe I'll be able to pick one up, just like that one!

It will look good cypher, A 1911 looks good in a toesack. Anything looks good in a Tucker. Kimber dressed by Tucker makes Miss America look a little homely. ;-)

I hope Miss America doesn't show up at your door with a sack full of expletives!
Thanks for the kind words.

I already have an order with Tucker for a bullhide gunbelt and Answer holster for the Kimber already, I have to wait a few months before I go spending anymore money on holsters or the like, or domestic unrest may ensue!!
