Replica guns being converted into real guns?! It's from a "Mothers Against Guns" ad in the UK. This just makes me angry!

(If my warnings are not enough mods, feel free to delete...but this is the kind of garbage that causes an irrational fears of guns.)

It is pretty disturbing, but shows how far the anti's will go for a shock affect. They are talking about replica guns, not toys. These are full sized metal framed guns that are exact replicas of the real thing. Some of them are being machined and reamed out to fire, but it takes a LOT of work to convert them. It is happening in countries that ban real guns, so the old adage where there is a will there is a way applies.

I find it odd that the UK is very anti-gun in general but I guess when it's a monarchy, having an armed populous wasn't very beneficial to the king.

No one's heard a zip gun? Sounds like that would be easier than trying to break down a Plastic or metal gun to make it fire real bullets.

The issue is this; these people are SO anti-gun and that someone will kill someone else. However, they have no remorse in showing a commercial portraying children killing children and letting these kids star in the commercial. Talk about hypocritical. They have their right to not want guns around, but there are better ways to try and spread your message than using these types of low handed tactics to play on the psyche's of the ill-informed people.
