WTS - Mossberg 500 - SOLD

Post by jeeperbryan »

Need funds for another project so I'm gonna have to let this one go. This was my home defense gun but I have a few others that can substitute. I bought the shotgun about 1 yr ago and have only put about 25 shells through it. The pistol grip and forearm are a carbon fiber pattern which is harder to find than all black furniture. Included is 40ish shells of 12g buckshot, side saddle, and bandolier.

Details:
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
12 gauge, 20" barrel
8 shot
Tacstar Side Saddle
40 shells of Winchester/Remington buckshot

I'd like to get $350 --> $325 for everything and would prefer FTF in DFW area. 21+ please.

pistol grip has no bearing on age requirement for purchasing a shotgun, the only way you would have problems were if it were under 26" overall length or the barrel was under 18", and it wouldnt matter if the buyer was 21 or 121, it would be a NFA item.

I've had lots of inquires and emails about the age requirement so I decided to look it up on ATF's website. It clearly states that shotguns are only considered longuns if they are intended to be shot from the shoulder. If it is equipped with pistol grip, it is considered "Other" and is 21+.

If I hadn't already purchased three guns in the past two weeks, I'd be interested. My wife is starting to give me "the look" when I mention buying more....
