Looking for a decent but not terribly expensive 22lr revolver for my kids learning to shoot at the range. Good or better condition preferred, ftf. Probably DA but open minded.
In the DFW area.
Thanks

Re: WTB: 22LR revolver
Try academy, they sometimes sell heritage arms 22lr SA for $99. A low-income friend of mine actually bought one for self-defense in the home. It's a good gun. Not real polished, but good and reliable. In other words, it has workmanship like an AK or a mess kit. It is not like a Kimber or fine china. But it goes bang every time.
Re: WTB: 22LR revolver
I have been waiting for that Heritage to go on sale for $99 again for a while. It's worth the $50 for me to wait a little longer, but I'm getting a little impatient. Like djwdjw, I want one for my 13 year old daughter.

Re: WTB: 22LR revolver
I thought about that heritage but it was $149 when I looked. At $99 I would hop on it.
Re: WTB: 22LR revolver
I ended up just going for one of the Heritage RR SA @ academy for $149 as it was close and easy.
They're not much to look at but my 14yo son thinks it's just great and has happily put a couple hundred rounds through it.
Goes bang every time, hits the paper every time.
