Collectors Firearms has a Large selection of holsters.
Also, If you can go north a little, stop by Spectre Guns and Ammo. They stock Crossbreed.

I carried my Kimber in a Milt Sparks VM2 holster for a long time and loved it. Now I carry a Glock in the same kind of holster.

Great holster. Long wait.TheArmedFarmer wrote:I carried my Kimber in a Milt Sparks VM2 holster for a long time and loved it. Now I carry a Glock in the same kind of holster.
A kimber UC is a GREAT carry gun - I miss mine sorely. There are a large variety of holsters for the 3" 1911 so you should have ample sampling ability (not something I get to enjoy by carrying a G30sf). I prefer leather but many love the crossbreed and comptac offerings.
IMO anything is light years ahead of uncle mike.

Please answer this question:
The Annoyed Man carries his Kimber Ultra:
A) OWB in a Galco Concealable belt holster
B) IWB in a Minotaur MTAC
C) Under his right arm in a Galco Miami Classic II Shoulder Holster
If you guessed all three, you would be correct!

Try ROG Holsters outta Rosenberg. I have a couple of his and could be happier. I have been using them for about 4 years now. He is back on ebay after being gone for a few years. (don't know what happened, I lost his contact info) If he doesn't have what you are looking for he can make it. I use his for both my HK's and and am ordering one for my CDP. Heck he might even be a member here?? Check him out.

I prefer leather to Kydex. Lots of good makers. I try to buy from Texas
leather makers. And yes, I have the proverbial "drawer full of holsters".
However, I sell off anything that doesn't work for me. Anyway.....
Try Nick Matthews : http://www.nm-holsters.com/products" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Very reasonable price point, nice product, good customer communication,
2-3 weeks turnaround. I have several #1's. Short break in period and you're
good to go.
I'll say this before someone else does........make sure you have a proper,
quality gun belt. Belt and holster working together is a "system".

Arms Room in League City has quite a few, a lot of Galco. Usually gonna cost quite a bit more if you buy local and not online. Same for the Crimson Trace. Got mine at the gun show at GRB and saved about 33%. About $225 for my Colt Officer.

I carry mine in a CompTac Mintar. I have found it works better with an undershirt though.

I have ordered Milt Sparks holsters twice from Lightning Arms Sports out of Oregon. In both cases, I ordered and received the holster in 3 days. They are a fabulous company. The thing to do is call them at 503.643.8198 and ask if they have the VM2 that you want in stock. Most likely they will, and they'll take your order and ship it out post-haste. Great company.gigag04 wrote:Great holster. Long wait.TheArmedFarmer wrote:I carried my Kimber in a Milt Sparks VM2 holster for a long time and loved it. Re: IWB Holster for my Kimber ultra carry?
I carry my Kimber one of two ways: IWB in a Crossbreed Supertuck (super comfy), or OWB in a Galco Combat Master.
I prefer the OWB, but it's a little tougher to conceal. I have a Commander-sized (Pro) Kimber, so it's a little larger than your Ultra.
