Its been about a a year need something new/better

I like the GSG9 because they feel like sneakers yet work like boots.
But they are slipperly on surfaces that are smooth, and I cant find GOOD laces anywhere (They need to be 108 and most places carry 60-90)
What do you suggest?
I like black because it works for everything but am open other colors

Put some jeans on they look like boots, you dont tuck them in or anything. If I had to wear boots all day, I would wear these, but like I said, I want to know what everyone else is using

Perhaps you could get some military jungle boots and resole them.

Off duty I usually wear flip flops and cargo shorts, but when jeans are required I wear some Ariats or sneakers.

Socks only with pants. If you were them with shorts they are to be worn w/o socks IMO.

These are supposed to be the bomb for workouts - one of my instructors has a pair. I just don't want to drop $80 on a pair right now.

Mark - I wear flip flops or sandals with my cargo shorts, cowboy boots, flip flops or sandals with jeans.

I buy 550 cord to use for replacement laces on all of my boots and sneakers, it comes in a variety of colors and is more durable than most laces, plus what I don't use for laces gets used for other stuff.

For years I have worn various pairs of custom cowboy boots, they are the most comfortable I have ever had on my hard to fit feet.

I have a pair of Bates "tactical" boots. I wear them every day that I'm not in work attire. Very comfortable.
