WTS - DFW 7-shot 870 Express Mag. - SOLD

Post by Greybeard »

=== SOLD 9/23/06 ---

21" barrel threaded for screw-in choke tubes (Browning). Extended modified choke currently in the gun. Set up for detachable sling (not included).

Carried in vehicle for about a year, shot less than a box. Currently set-up for investigating two-legged varmint activity at extended range in the dark. Mounted on the gun (with black cable ties) is a Surefire 120-lumen flashlight. Requires four 123 batteries. Only 15-minute burn time, but VERY bright.

Preferred sale to someone in DFW area who can pick up, possibly test fire if desired in private indoor range west of Lewisville. $450 (no tax) as described above, $350 if I keep the flashlight.

Busy hunter ed. season approaching, so I may or may not be in a position to respond to e-mails promptly. dcsa@airmail.net

Correction. Sorry. The barrel length is factory 18". Modified choke tube in the gun adds almost an inch.

GlockTalker said he can't make it yet, so I guess it's back on market.

Choke and sling set-up are my modifications.

I need to sell it before Tuesday.

$350 firm without flashlight.

Good looking scattergun, and worth what you're asking. I hope you get it.

But "need to sell" and "firm" don't really go together. :grin:

Ya got a point there - to an extent. I suppose a matter of how great the "need to sell" and how much of a beatin' one is willing to take.

Also got a Glock 29 "package" I've put out for sale here and there for several months now, my "firm" posture probably somewhat the reason it's been "several months". ;-) Methinks it often takes time for the right person (with money) to come along at the right time with "need" for particular add-ons ...

I'll likely have this at Market Hall gun show this coming weekend. Got a little class do to Sunday a.m., but most of the time I should be around Denton County Sports Association table (southeast quadrant, 2'nd isle in from overhead door). Come fondle this 870. Bring $$. :smile:
