Recommended gunsmith in Houston???

I apologize in advance as this has probably been asked before, but nothing came up in my search. So here we go...I need to get my wife's S&W Lady Smith .357 worked on. Specifically it needs a trigger job as it's very difficult for her to pull DA only. If anyone has a particular smith that they've used before or if someone on this board is qualified to perform this, please let me know.

Call Teddy Jacobson at (281) 277- 4008 or (281) 565 - 6977. He has done work for me on a S&W 36 that was excellent work.

I think Teddy is semi-retired, but it is worth the call to see if he will take the work. He worked on one S&W revolver for me and the action is sweet!

They were closed when I went by there. I'm off Thurs - Sun this week so I'm gonna make a trip over there in the next few days.

Finally got around to going over to Parkhill. My childhood friend is building his new office right next door, so we both actually talked to Martin at length. He seems like a good guy. He shared some pretty funny stories about some clueless customers that have come into the shop. We even had one lady who came in asking for a "clip" for her .32.

That trigger job is gonna cost me around $60 or so which is really reasonable imho. I guess anyone who is qualified to work on Bush Sr.'s Weatherby is good enough for me. Also, it's nice to know that he does transfers for $25 (most people charge at least $50 in my experience). One other thing to note...he got a call from the LA Times wanting to talk about gun sales in Texas...LOL...he refused. I knew this was the start of a beautiful friendship.

Finally picked up my wife's Lady Smith today. I'm happy to say that Martin and Wes did a great job. Now Veronica can actually pull the DA trigger whereas before she had to cock the hammer everytime.

I also left them my M1A Scout so they could install my 3rd Gen scope mount.
