Composite material armor, trauma plates, etc.

Post by AV8R »

I mentioned my son's website, http://www.composite-armor.com in another post, and the number of hits he noticed coming from texasshooting.com makes me think that there is some interest here. They make vehicle armor, clipboards, trauma inserts, etc. from uv-resistant, non-aramid fiber composite systems. The materials stop a .44 mag fired from a 6.5" barrel.

Bobby Ripps, one of the DPS trainers at the CHL instructor class mentioned his usage of, and sort of a demonstration of how he used, the ballistic clipboard whiile working highway patrol.
I was wondering where to get one, thanks..
