SOLD - Lathe, milling machine

Post by Rex B »

It's a bit of a stretch to call these shooting related, unless you aspire to some gunsmithing.
But hobby machining and firearms tinkering sort of go together for some of us.

These tools are in Azle

Logan 9B-17-1 lathe, 1957 vintage
9x17 with quickchange gearbox.
QC toolpost,
steady rest
3 jaw & 4 jaw
faceplate, centers, drill chuck. manual
and probably some more things.
Mounted on an older Craftsman bench with drawers
This is a nice old American lathe of a size that is hard to find.
It will grieve me to part with it, but I find I use my 10x24 enco most of the time. 110V
In excellent condition, $1200

Enco Mill/Drill machine
This is a round column Chinese machine, probably 10 years old, used little. I bought it from a very particular machinist, excellent condition, no table gouges etc. 220 volt
Includes a wrench and a tilting vise. You would have to buy collets etc
It's mounted now to a steel table that I would like to keep.
Machine alone $750, table $200
