Welcome to Galveston Seamus!!! It's kind of funny but just by your post I can tell you are an IBC..NOT a BOI. Your post just reaaffirms why this BOI moved off the Island and up to civilization!!!

Are we still talking about Galveston here? Sounds like the same thing my Hawaiian friends say.

It's much the same as my friends and family in California. "Why would you choose to move to Houston from here?!" Of course there are plenty of Texans that think that, too.

It's the same everywhere. Some people who were born there can't leave soon enough, and some who weren't can't get there fast enough.

Oh Snap!

Just when we were planning to visit Galveston, there's more violence. How much protection must we bring?

This kind of event is rare. People need situational awareness as much as hardware, and that's true everywhere.

Pistol, BUG, AR-15, crew-served machine gun, M203 grenade launcher,
3,000 rounds of ammo, Claymores. That ought to be enough. :-)

100,000 people (including visitors and commuters) didn't get shot in Galveston yesterday. No one did.

Do you know that or have they just not found any cadavers as of noon today? Don't despair, the weekend isn't over yet.

Unless the bodies are dumped in the ocean, people tend to notice either the buzzards or the stench.

As Shakespeare or somebody pretending to be Shakespeare wrote, "Murder will out."

I will make sure the woman gets the piece of BBQ that falls on the ground and have my dog lick it before giving it to her.
