SOLD

Post by cajunautoxer »

I have a Kel Tec Sub-2000 for sale. I purchased and cleaned the carbine and never shot it. This is in the Glock 9mm version. I also have the extra mag holder and the stock extension. I use to have the sling but not sure where it is. If found I'll ship to buyer. I will be at the gun show tomorrow morning 5/23.
You can also email me at my screenname@hotmail.com

The price is $275 firm. I'm not interested in trades unless you have some Canon DSLR glass.

I wouldn't mind shipping but finding a company that understands the laws about intrastate shipping will probably be an issue. I should have posted this last wknd since I was in SA all this wk

From what I understand, Lone Star Overnight has no issue with it, and they are *cheap* shipping.

I'll do some additional digging.

I am interested and would love to purchase, but if you get a local buyer first I understand!

Kel Tec calls the Sub 2000 a carbine, not a pistol. As such, it can be mailed intrastate from one individual to another.
Q: May a nonlicensee ship a firearm through the U.S. Postal Service?
A nonlicensee may not transfer a firearm to a non-licensed resident of another State. A nonlicensee may mail a shotgun or rifle to a resident of his or her own State or to a licensee in any State. The Postal Service recommends that long guns be sent by registered mail and that no marking of any kind which would indicate the nature of the contents be placed on the outside of any parcel containing firearms. Handguns are not mailable. A common or contract carrier must be used to ship a handgun.

[18 U.S.C. 1715, 922(a)(3), 922(a)(5) and 922 (a)(2)(A)]
Were it classified as a pistol, not even Lone Star Express will ship from one individual to another,

It folds, so it would work good for that.

I looked at where LSO is located and it's <45 miles from me. I prefer to keep it local for right now.

When this folds up it's about the size of a 15/16" laptop.
